Ladies Trips

Did you know that sand driving is a great way to relax your mind and take a distance from anything that might occupy you during a week? And that ladies can also participate in and have fun with dune bashing? 

If you are a lady who:

• is curious about sand driving and would like to try it out,
• is curious about sand driving but a bit nervous about trying it out 🙂,
• is ready to go out of your comfort zone (just a bit 🙂) and move your own internal boundaries,
• likes camping and being on a desert,
• likes teamwork and supporting each other,
• likes sharing an adventure with others,

then ORAC ladies trip is JUST FOR YOU! 

We try to create a learning environment in which you can experience sand driving and it is alright to feel afraid / excited / nervous / thrilled / anxious / delighted / frightened / inspired / timid / courageous / adventurous / ……………… (fill in more adjectives here according to your needs 🙂). And yes, even if you need to go up that steep dune 5 or more times, we WILL wait for you and share the tips to achieve that!

During the ORAC ladies trip, you will be sand driving on Wahiba Sands (Ash Sharqiyah) with experienced ORAC committee members. The experienced drivers will be sharing tips and tricks on how to drive on sand and go up and down the dunes (so that you can feel proud of yourself!). After a day of sand adventures, you will be camping in the desert for the night (own camping equipment necessary), where you will be enjoying that sunset, bonfire and movies on a large screen. Have you ever been to a desert cinema yet? 😀

So, get your 4×4 car, camping equipment and foodstuffs ready and look out for the next ORAC ladies trip! 

The registration link is normally active approximately 2-3 weeks before the planned date of the event.
